Control of the CPA200 system is via a dedicated application of the user-friendly Human Machine Interface “InTouch” (Wonderware, USA). This advanced software allows for manual as well as automatic experiments to be performed. All the tasks that can be controlled manually by the operator can be automated.

Automation is made easy with ALRIC, “Automated Laboratory Reactor Instruction Code”.The instruction code is simple and conditional jumps based on the value of measured parameters and other conditions can be made. A built-in Click-and-Pick editor is used to write the instruction code.

Some of the handy features are:
• Settings of graphs, display and data-log settings can be saved and recalled.
• A number of "User directories" can be defined for different users or for different types of experiments. Each User directory has it own, independent pre-defined settings and Alric-files.
